IsoAcoustics isolation for speakers and components
IsoAcoustics makes isolation products for the physical support of loudspeakers, turntables and other audio equipment. Selecting a suitable design begins with the equipment, its weight and the surface beneath it.
Experience from studio construction
IsoAcoustics began distributing audio isolation products in 2012. Founder Dave Morrison’s background includes radio and television studio planning at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The company now develops products for both professional and home-audio applications.
Its home catalog includes GAIA loudspeaker isolation, Aperta speaker supports, OREA component isolators and turntable platforms. These formats address different physical arrangements rather than serving as interchangeable accessories.
Measure before selecting
Check the equipment’s weight, footprint and center of support. Loudspeaker applications also require attention to the manufacturer’s threaded fittings, floor type and the complete supported weight. Component platforms need adequate dimensions and a suitable location.
Physical support and room acoustics are separate parts of a listening setup. Speaker placement, seating position and acoustic treatment still need their own attention. Our system and room services can place isolation choices within that larger picture.
Discuss a precise fit in Minneapolis
Bring the speaker or component model name, its published weight and photographs of the existing feet or supporting surface. Explain whether the equipment sits on a rack, desk, stand or floor and whether that arrangement will change.
Ask Minneapolis HIFI about suitable IsoAcoustics options and current availability. Arrange a visit by calling or texting 612-965-6635. The showroom is open by appointment only.
Questions before you listen
What does IsoAcoustics make for home systems?
The home-audio catalog includes loudspeaker isolation feet, speaker supports, component isolators and turntable platforms, with different sizes and load requirements.
Can one isolator suit every speaker or component?
No. Weight capacity, dimensions, attachment method and supporting surface must suit the exact equipment. Check the manufacturer’s application guidance.
Does isolation replace room treatment?
No. Equipment support and room acoustics address different parts of the setup. Placement, listening position and acoustic treatment remain part of the overall room plan.
