JBL Synthesis home cinema systems
A home cinema is a system distributed across a room. JBL Synthesis approaches loudspeakers, subwoofers, processing and amplification as connected parts of an immersive listening environment.
Cinema engineering brought home
JBL Synthesis draws on JBL’s background in professional sound and cinema loudspeaker design. Its portfolio brings architectural loudspeakers and subwoofers together with processing and amplification for residential systems.
This is a useful distinction when planning a theater: choosing an isolated speaker is only one decision. The coverage of the seating area, bass system, electronics and room design all influence the experience.
Design around the seats and the space
Start with room dimensions, screen location and the number of listening positions. In-wall and in-ceiling speakers depend on construction depth and placement opportunities. Processing channels and amplifier channels must also support the intended layout.
Treat sound isolation, room treatment and speaker positioning as part of the design conversation. They address different needs and should be considered before installation. Our services provide a starting point for discussing equipment selection, room acoustics and a practical scope for your project.
