Roon music management and playback
Roon brings a music library, its background information and compatible playback devices into one listening environment. Planning a Roon system means thinking about the music you own, the services you use and where you want to listen.
A library built for exploration
Roon organizes digital music and presents connections among recordings, performers and credits. It can work with local files and supported streaming services, allowing the listening experience to begin with an artist, an album or a musical relationship.
The system has several parts. Roon Server manages the library and playback; a control app provides the interface; connected audio devices reproduce the music. Nucleus is Roon’s dedicated server hardware, while supported computers provide another way to run the server.
Plan the complete digital path
Decide where the server will live, how local files will be stored and backed up, and which rooms need playback. Check the exact device’s Roon compatibility rather than assuming that every network-connected audio component supports the same features.
Our audio-system services can help connect the source, DAC, amplifier and loudspeakers into a coherent plan. Explain how other people in the household choose music, because daily use matters alongside the equipment list.
